Summary:

It’s the story of Po, a panda who works with his father in a noodles restaurant. But, the dream of Po is not to work in a noodles restaurant, he wants to do Kung Fu. Every nights, he dreams at the same thing. He dreams that he is a winner of Kung Fu. But, in real life, he is not. One day, Po saw an announce of Master Oogway. It was saying that they needed a new Dragon Warrior to bring peace to the Kung Fu. Po wanted to go there but his father wanted him to carry on serving costumers in the noodles restaurant. But, Po went at the Valley Palace even if his father didn’t want. At his surprise, Po was choosen to be the Dragon Warrior. He was so excited but his father wasn’t sure if he wanted Po to do this because he wanted him to work in the noodles shop.

It’s the story of Amy and her brother Kirk. At the beginning, they are both preparing themselves to go to the party of their uncle. The party was to celebrate his wedding. There, she meet the new fiancée of her uncle. She also meet to daughter of the new fiancée. Her uncle told her that she’ll be at the same school as her next year. They became good friend in short time. Amy even repear the dress of  Janelle, her new friend. Then, a band began to play music. Fiona, the sister of Janelle came and took Janelle by the arm and brought her inside because she wanted her to watch the band. Janelle didn’t want, she wanted to stay outside with Amy. Amy didn’t follow Amy because her sister just said that the dress that Amy was wearing looked like of a waitress clothes. Amy was upset so, she decided to stay outside alone with her brother. Up to now, Amy and her brother think that the party is very boring. 

Stanley and the magic lamp

There’s a long time ago, before the beginning of sort of people like today, was living an old king. He was living in a magical kingdom. Once upon a time, when he was studying in his room, appears à magical lamp. The king who was a genie, decided to go inside of the lamp. 

Now, comeback to today, where a boy name Stanley was studying and doing homeworks in his room with his little brother. Then, a magical lamp appears in the room. The genie king came out of the lamp. He asked to Stanley to tell him the wishes that he wanted the most. Stanley didn’t know what wishes he want to. So, he thought about it a long long time. 

Comments about my reading:

I think that the story was to much classical and that the pages that I read were not original. I didn’t like it because it wasn’t the first time that I read a book or that I heard about the magic lamp and the genie that comes out and asks us 3 wishes. I also think that the story wasn’t for secondary 1 students because it’s was too easy to understand. So, I didn’t like the pages that I read.

They have the same name and they are also best friend until first grade. It’s a coincidence that both have the same name. During the story, they are in 5th grade both in the class of Mrs. West. On day, Mrs. West was explaining a new project that they would need to do in team of 4 and that they would need to present it at the class after. She also said that she already choosed the team. All of the students thaught that it was unfair. But , Mrs. West didn’t change her choice and told them the teams. When she began to tell the team #4, Boyd and Boyd were not still in a team. The first name that she named was Boyd Fink. After, she named Nathaniel Boyd. Boyd and Boyd were very excited to be working in the same team. The other person with them was Jessie. A girl that the boys dislike. And the last one was Bad Dog. They were all calling him like this because he was scared and everybody was afraid of him, especially Nathaniel Boyd...

Then, when Bella opened a gift, she cuts a bit her finger with the wrapping paper of the gift so, it bled. Because Edward’s family are vampires and that some of those are allowed to control themselves but others are not allowed, Jasper, Edward’s brother, jumped on Bella to eat her blood. Edward tried to stop him with all of the others of the family. They took out Jasper outside of the house to calm him. All of the house was upside down, vases were break on the floor, the piano was broken and the walls were smash. Bella was very sorry and decided to leave because she didn’t want to make some other damages. She was feeling very sorry and thought that all of this was her fault.

So her father decided to give the baby pig to Fern. Fern was so happy about the idea that she would need to take care of a baby pig. She was always take care of him, she feed him, played with him, built a little house for him outside and she called him Wilbur. Once upon a time, Wilbur was to much big to stay with them. He needed to much milk. They needed to sell Wilbur. Fern’s didn’t want it, she loved Wilbur and she wanted to keep him with her. But, she was obligated so she selled it to his uncle who had a farm. 

Everyday, she was going to see Wilbur to his uncle’s farm. She was so happy to see him grow.

This book is not a story, it’s a book that explain the stress and how to react and how to feel. It can be very usefull for someone who is habitually stress. In example, they explain how to relax when we are stressed, why we are habitually stressed ect. At the beginning of the book, they make us do a little test about our stress. We only need to answere by yes or no. They also showed some examples of persons who got stress situations. They explain all of the things that stress can make to people. In example, they said that the most of the reasons of the stress are: homeworks, tests, school, team tryouts, busy scheduls, competitions, gardes, wanting to be love by others ect. Here is example of feeling when we are stress. We are: anxious, confused, excited, jumpy, nervous, panicky, pressured, shaky, tense, wired ect. There is also two kinds of stress. There is the good one and the bad one. The good one is when we are excited about someting. It’s call having adrelanin, it’s when you are haste to do something. But when it bad stress, it’s because you are scared and you don’t want to this. s
